Are you certain about that?
The Quadra 605 and the LC 475 (and Performa 475 Performa 476) are all the
exact same machine on the inside, the only difference being that the
Quadra 605 has a jumper block (either installed or removed, I can't
remember) which allows the machine operating system software to recognize
it as a Quadra 605, as I believe it uses a slightly different system
enabler than the LC/Performa 475/476 machines.
In regards to the Quadra 605/LC 475/Performa 475-476, the IIe card simply
needs an old enough version of the MacOS which allows 32-bit addressing to
be turned off via a control panel...for example, currently, my LC 475
cannot use a IIe card, but that is because I am running MacOS 8.1, which
does not allow 32 bit addressing to be turned off...if I was using MacOS
7.1 (which was the originally installed operating system at the time of
purchase), my LC 475 would be able to use the IIe card with no
problem...the same goes for the Quadra 605 and equivalant Performa models
as mentioned above.
