The same IIe card will work in all models of the LC. I think there is
only one version of the IIe card. I think v2.2 or higher of the IIe card
software i needed for a LCIII. (Don't know about the LCII). I use a IIe
card in both a LC and a LCIII. The LCIII must have 32-bit addressing
turned OFF, so use System 7.0.1 - 7.5.5, no higher. The LCIII seems to
run the IIe card a little faster, but the IIe runs the same 2MHz in
either machine. The Mac support is just faster in a LCIII. Or maybe
that seems true since I run 7.0.1 in the LC and 7.5.5 in the LCIII. My
only gripe with v2.2 of the IIe card software is that I can't get the
emulated clock into the 21st century - it is now the 100th year of the
1900's according to ProDOS! Try using IIe card software newer that v2.2.
Good luck!
