Yes, that's probably the only definite here.

Not always true; as has been said before illegal doesn't always imply
immoral, and immorality is a subjective thing.

Possibly; again, this is a subjective thing. And yes, I know I'm handwaving.

"Piracy." I know what you mean by it, but I don't like it because it's,
well, sensational. It gets a rise in people, and the way it's used around
there (especially from people like Q_C, what little of it I've seen) looks
like the slogan-based grandstanding I usually only see in
none-too-respectable places like alt.flame and alt.usenet.kooks. This is the
sort of thing I wish wouldn't happen around here -- it's basically being
used as an insult, and I don't like it when people flame out and go on
ad-hominem, name-calling attack sprees (like Q_C, and Nathan Mates before
him, and also Dr. Tom and LJSilicon at times). Can't people discuss this a
little more calmly? And also, all these people did was copy a disk. They're
not child abusers or murderers or anything -- why give them the trouble
they're getting? And before you play the theft card, I have to say that I'd
only consider that valid if they actually robbed a store and stole the
disks.

See above. I don't like the name-calling, from either side, really. I've
seen this too, and as I said a few posts back, it just makes people tune
out.
