Well the theft angle might be so for homemade upgrades, but since people
say that legit upgrades are scarce, that might make one of those more
theft prone. As if anyone would go around swiping Apple II stuff that
might just as easily be found in dumpsters nowadays.

When I built one from parts rummaged from a dealer's "garage sale" I had
to locate a Chinook card to fit in there. It's a 4 mb card that looks just
like Apple's 1 mb card, complete with sloping edge at the front to make
it //e case friendly. Man I had to spend $140 to get it back in '92 or
whenever it was that I built that box.

I put in a grey //e style supply, which is the same as a IIgs but with a
//e style connector. I figure they're a bit better built than the supplies
from the heyday of ][ pluses and //e's.
