My first recommendation is the Trenco site at:

My second recommendation is the Ground site at:

     ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu/2/apple2/

My third recommdation is the TFF Enterprises site at:

    http://apple2.tffenterprises.com
     ftp://apple2.tffenterprises.com/pub/apple2/

You might want to avoid most or all the other sites that may be
mentioned as they consist mainly of archives being distributed
illegally.
