Well there is your problem right there.

No, I don't mean the fact that you are using Netscape, Win95 or a PC
but the fact that you are using a web browser to access an FTP site.
:-)

Personally, if I'm accessing an FTP site I use an FTP client and when
I'm accessing a web (HTTP) site I use a web browser.  I realize that
web browsers like Netscape and Internet Explorer allow you to access
FTP sites but they do a pretty poor job of it if you ask me.

However, this is just my opinion.
