Your snip omits important information. Here is the complete ANN:

While I was on the Apple2 and A2Pro Delphi forums reading the two forums
messageboards, I noticed that Howard Katz was requesting the last version
available of BeagleWrite IIgs, as its now a freeware - for uploads as a
ShrinkIt archive to the Delphi Apple2 and A2Pro archive libraries. Nobody there
seemed to have it to furnish.

The GS WorldView May2000 online ezine issue is pleased to provide BeagleWrite
IIgs v3.2 as such for public access and download, along with; BeagleWrite IIgs
Utilities and BeagleGSDA (IIgs Desk Accessories), BeagleWriteGS updates text
file, BeagleDrawGS v1.3 and several screen captures of each in color JPEG
graphic format.

The ShrinkIt Disk (SDK) archives can be downloaded from within the folder of
the following URL.

As freeware releases these have also been uploaded to our Apple2 public ftp
site Ground also.

Cheers & Best Wishes,
Tom

Here is a snip of Howard's posting:

Thanks, but I think the problem with uploading the MultiScribe program is
that we don't have the copyright holder's permission for the program
under that title. Beagle gave me permission to BeagleWrite GS, and even tho
they may have bought the rights to MultiScribe GS, I'd rather play it safe
   and get the Beagle.Bros edition.

BTW--there was a BeagleWrite/Multiscribe version for both the 8-bit and the
16-bit machines. The 8-bit version is already released and can be found
on Trenco and in the databases here.

As far as BeagleWrite GS "reclassification announcements" on the
particular forum go, that seems to be it. As of 28 April (yesterday), all
anyone knew was that some guy wandering around on Delfog-A2 claimed to have an
okay to download from "Beagle". He did not even know where to download
BeagleWrite GS.

     Whatever.

The fact remains that, as usual, Dr. Tom is the one who _did_ _something_
to get the stuff to users (including Howard).

     Say what!?

Dr. Tom is the one who accepted Howard's claim of having permission to
download BeagleWrite GS, located the software, placed it in the GSWV May issue,
added screen shot pics and Text info files, and announced to everyone that
BeagleWrite GS is available. That, as anyone who's ever done it knows, _is_
work.

Yes; you've been publishing an Apple II mag for five years and still
haven't learned to be fair when it comes to giving credit. That really is a
shame.

Hey, Penman, good going with getting the okay for BeagleWrite GS. Your
efforts are appreciated!

Now, how about some appreciation for Dr. Tom's efforts at making
BeagleWrite GS available?
