Cturley2,
I see you are quick to seize these freeware reelases for
your own needs
and wants. But it's a shameful oversight that you did not at
least
congratulate and credit Howard Katz and the Lost Classics Project on
Delphi for actually doing =all= the work to see that these
reclassifications
came about.
Howard and the folks at Lost Classics worked persistently with
Beagle
Bros over a number of weeks to secure these releases, and the
official
archives that will eventually be released by Lost Classics -- as
opposed
to the bootleg releases you are arranging on your, ahem, Web site --
will
contain an official FREEWARE reclassification notice.
Cturley2, as one
who is always thirsting for credit and attention, I would
think you'd be
quick to pass along the same for those who actually do
good things for the
Apple II community rather than simply talking about it
or taking advantage
of the good work of others.
As an Apple IIGS magazine publisher for five
years, I want to extend my
congratulations and appreciation to Howard Katz
and others
associated with the Lost Classics Project for the tremendous
amount of
work they've done to secure software reclassifications and
releases in
a responsible way. They are truly a credit to this community and
deserve
our commendations.
So, fellow Apple II enthusiasts, if you run into
Howard online, let him
know his efforts are appreciated.
