You didn't mention which SCSI card you had which may be important.
Also what SCSI id is your hard drive and other devices?
Usually a IIgs boots off the device with the highest SCSI id so most people
set their hard drives SCSI id to 6.
If you have 2 devices with the same SCSI ID your computer either won't be able
to see one of them or often neither of them.
