If you are talking about the CD Remote NDA for playing audio CDs then
you are probably out of luck.  That NDA will only let you play audio
CDs on early Apple CD-ROM drives that used a different set of commands
than the current standard for playing audio CDs.

However, you might be able to play audio CDs using the MediaControl
CDEV.

If you just want to use the CD-ROM for data CDs, you might need a
driver in the *:System:Drivers folder.  However, you don't need to run
any special software to access ProDOS, HFS or High Sierra (HS or
ISO9660) CDs.  YOu just put the CD in the drive and, if the
appropriate FSTs are installed and active, the CD should show up on
the Finder desktop.

Like others have said, though, knowing what SCSI card you have will
definitely make helping you easier.
