Depends. Our usually usage of "left" and "right" refers to the Assembly
in the early French republic with the supporters of the monarchy on the
right, and what would later be called communists on the left. But that
doesn't make as much sense as another political spectrum which puts
anarchist on the right (no government) and totalitarians on the left
(Hitler and his good buddy Stalin). Besides, by either spectrum Hitler
was left wing - remember the name of his party? National SOCIALIST
Workers Party?
And that's why modern liberals ARE left wing, they believe that
government is the cure for most human ills, and so left/liberal
governments do more, cost more, and control more. As the US Supreme
Court has said, where Federal dollars go, Federal control goes too.
But what does this have to do with the Apple ][?
