Re: Usenet Posts, P.D. or ©? = Thoughts or Court Ruling

a2mg@aol.comNomail rwrote in her new subject post:
"x-no-archive: yes"

Well, I'm glad to see you put that back in your post Bev :)
Don't worry dear...I won't EVER archive any post from YOU.
But, I don't think the "x-no-archive: yes" insert is going to
prevent professional online Usenet newsgroup services from
archiving your post to "this forum" as you refer to it. They
still seem to be showing up in many such professional online
Usenet newsgroup services, even the most current of your post!

"Tom, I didn't read all your gobbledygook but we can easily solve the problem
simply by not posting here any more. Either you respect our wishes not to be
quoted without permission (...please take that TO.Calendar quote down...), or
we simply won't add our two cents to the discussion any more. "

.....gobbledygook indeed. So that's what you call it. How rude of you!
I could say the same thing about some of your past ramblings and chatter,
on this newsgroup with your past postings -> but, I don't. i will say this
though... Your really getting hot under the collar about not to much of nothing
lately. What's your problem anyway? Paranoid that somebody
in the elitist A2 circle will relate you to me and abandon support to you, most
like - I'd guess.

you said: "Either you respect our wishes not to be quoted without permission
(...please take that TO.Calendar quote down...), or we simply won't add our two
cents to the discussion any more. "

The content words; our and we - my my Bev. When did you become the official
spokes-person and moderator for this newsgroup? I thought CSA2 was an opened,
public and non-moderated newsgroup. When did it change? As to my quoting your
post without permission, to the best of my knowledge I have respected your
wishes to that effect ever sense you made me aware of it many. many months ago.
And your comment: "(...please take that TO.Calendar quote down...)

Ref. URL:

http://www.grin.net/~cturley/gsezine/GS.WorldView/v2000/Feb/Articles/AwksT
OcalY2kupdate.htm

That is an html document that WAS NOT done by me. It WAS MADE and
placed in the GS WorldView Feb2000 issue --LAST MONTH- by Rubywand.
I DID NOT create it thus - I WILL NOT remove it. You should address such a
request directly to Rubywand and not to me. Is that understood?

It is a LEGAL and FAIR USE quote and is simply an effort to promote a
commercial service you offer from your web site - with a polite
composition and a sincere link to your web site. You have a problem with that
- then take it up with Rubywand.

"This issue has been around since early Genie, and after quite a long argument,
we all thought it was resolved. People either gave a blanket "yes," a blanket
"no," or requested an inquiry in each case. Get with the program, please. We
don't care what is legal. It is a simple courtesy."

I AM WITH THE PROGRAM DEAR! IT"S TIME FOR ***YOU*** TO GET WITH THE PROGRAM OR
ELSE DUMP IT AND GET OFF THE POT - SO TO SPEAK!!!

"Also, when you change the subject name, the old or new subject messages can
get lost for AOL users. They are hard to find for replying later. It's better
to start a totally new topic, which I just did."

Well, as the Church Lady of Saturday Night Live might say: Isn't that
SPECIAL! Strange Bev, I read this newsgroup from my AOL service also
and I've had no problem with finding a changed subject name. But, then I use a
Mac and not a PC :) Seems, many problems result with the use of a PC from AOL.
I sure glad I still use an Apple computer and haven't sold out to the PC world
YET!

"Sorry nobody found the Beagle Bros stories interesting."

Perhaps you didn't but, rest assured many other have!

Cheers Dear,
Tom
