It's a matter of speed. Considering it may be serving more then
one connection at a time, a high speed is best. It may be possible
to set up a multi linked (2 or more) 56k modems. I use this for
my local network. Not nearly as good though as dsl or even isdn,
but I only use 2 modems. D*mn Sprint, they won't run the high
speed wiring out where I live, too much trouble for the cost.
