Traditionally, on the collectors market, "new in unopened box"
will bring more money. I am not one of those people who pay more
for this, however. I have nothing like the kind of willpower it
takes to leave anything in an unopened container. Get it out and
play with it, would be my advice to myself it were mine, but
then if it were mine I would NEVER sell it. If I were only going
to pass it on to a collector I would leave it sealed. The $$$
that it will bring at auction for a truely factory sealed box
should go up significantly.
In short - Open it if you intend to keep it. Leave it sealed if
you intend to auction it.
