Is the Appletalk turned off in the GS control panel for all slots?
Also if you have a transwarp, make sure the Appletalk IRQ is off.

Under GS/OS system folder is the good copy of p8. Copy it over the
prodos in the root directory and double check for any file named
atinit. If you find one, delete it.
