Apple IIe help...

I used to own an Apple IIe (loooong time ago)-anyway, I just picked up
another one, and got tons of software/games etc.  BUT, I'm having
trouble getting stuff to load...Everything worked to start out, but now,
the in use light comes on...and it just sist there for up to 5 minutes
before doing nothing--any suggestions??  It's an original Apple IIe with
2 disk drives, disk 2 interface card etc.  GReenscreen monitor and
64k...

Oh, one more question--does anyone have a list of commands??  I've
forgotten more than I remember:)
