Yeah, this stupid simple Apple ][ sound interface was
indeed interesting.

I remember one cool program named Electric Duett, which
could play dual tunes.

Then i have a self written program that sampled the input
from the microphone jack and played these samples to the
earphone jack or the speaker later. Hehe, with 48kByte
memeory i could hold about an 8 seconds sound sample
(at full speed).

Another great thing was the sound that "The Halley Project"
played on startup! I never heared anything better and clearer
from a computer before. I think this must have been oversampled
anyhow, maybe with 8 bit, because the apple speaker does no
more than 1 bit for sure. 

BTW: Halley Project and Electric Duett are on asimov.
