LOL! That may be why you do not notice that comp.sys.apple2.gno is mostly spam.
Of 27 messages which show up (starting 29 Oct 1999) maybe 6 or 7 are not spam.

     It's nice that you are not bothered by spam on newsgroups. However, it
does make it difficult for you to appreciate the impression most users get in
reading through a spammed-out group like comp.sys.apple2.gno.

     Agree. Unless there is some kind of sudden spam plague, I'll keep any spam
response messages down to no more than one per week.
