A Ram5 ramdisk is much faster than a slinky card. If you're going
to use a ramfactor it might be worthwhile just seeing what the
performance difference is (between it and your hard drive) and
decide if it's worth the trouble. In my case with an accelerated IIgs,
ramfactor SCSI card and a fairly fast hard drive, I can boot a program
more quickly off my hard drive than off ramfactor or Apple slinky card.
With an Apple SCSI, unaccelerated IIgs or slower HD the results might
be totally different.
