Re: powering an apple by a car battery?



A car battery is only nominally 12 volt. The voltage increases as the battery is
charged and tops out at somewhere around 14 volts.
I seem to recall seeing ads for cigarette lighter adaptors for the IIc.
Of couse there wouldn't be much point unless you had an LCD screen. Even
then I'd buy the inverer just so I could run a regular monitor and actually see
what I'm doing
