There were many mainframe terminals which used monitors similiar to this. Also
the early PC models had monochrome monitors.

As GSE mentioned some of the monitors use RF output and others used a
composite output. To make matters worse, some early clone vendors mixed
the hot/ground leads so they could sell their own cable at a higher price.
