Re: AE GS Ram



One possibility is that the card isn't compatible with a ROM 3. I've got 2
of
these cards (Rev Ds) and neither function with my ROM 3. I've heard that a
few of AE memory cards either weren't compatible or needed a different PAL
or GAL. Shift booting probable allowed you to boot without using the memory

card at all.
I'd suggest AE's test program as it tells you which chips are bad, however
if
the card is incompatible I'm not sure what the results would be. I'll email
you
he program.
If you happen to have an Apple IIgs memory card the chips will work in the
GS RAM card.
