But, they are both PCL Level 3 printers. That means that both printers go 
through the exact same process receiving and processing the data that 
is sent from the GS. 

That said, if you could provide verification or proof of your belief that
a serial connection is at least as fast, or possibly even faster than a
parallel connection, I think it would be very easy for you to be the next
recipient of the Nobel prize in physics. Or, at the very least, in
mechanical engineering.
