Whoa!  OK, yes I have AppleWorks.  I did not know it was a
communication's program (for between computers), and have never seen
anything about it to that end; perhaps I have an older version (it only
has two disks: startup and program).

How on earth could I hook some sort of ethernet adapted to my apple //c,
or any apple for that matter?

I've never heard of IrDA.

Could you please enlighten me?  Thanks.
