Thanks for the link -- some good deals there! Unfortunately, the 2.5
inch laptop sized drives are $150-$250 for very small (< 200MB)
drives.

I'm thinking it might be worth it to watch eBay/Craigslist for old
PowerBooks and just cannibalize for parts...
