Yep back in '88 when the card came out its retail was well over $400. I
remember $495 myself. I bought a used one for $300 and later bought another
for $25  from some guy who got it in a lot of Mac stuff at an auction. I
sold that one for $240.

As far as hefty prices go, Sun Remarketing could put that phrase in their
ad slogans. They are unholy expensive. On the other hand, they have stuff
that no one else has. 

On the VOC, those are a bit scarce due to to the retail when they came out.
