The ORCA/C compiler was originally ported to run on the Mac under MPW I
believe for a big customer not developing for the IIGS (my guess is it was
for Super NES). Even if that isn't the case, you could surely "retarget" it
yourself fairly easily (just replace the startup code, don't use floating
point or much of the standard C library). It is available for sale from the
ByteWorks. Contact ByteWorks at mikew50@aol.com or
http://www.hypermall.com/byteworks/. They can also sell you the MPW IIGS
Assembler.
I'm surprised the GNU tools don't support 65816. What are the "real" Super
NES tools?
