This is actually a reasonable solution by itself if the emulator (etc)
checks for it. I added that to AppleIIGo and if we add it to AppleWin
it might become more commonly accepted, getting rid of those NIBs that
can be DSKs instead.

IIRC the idea was originally suggested by Rubywand.

Or just use the established .2mg format (which AppleWin has supported
the past year).

True, but that's pushing on a rope.  Much easier to rename a .dsk
image.  ;-)

Now if there were widespread support for .2mg, or a utility for
converting a .nib to a "volumized" .2mg, it might get more popular.
