Partially correct. The TD2 manual does have a page on IIGS harddrive
installation and I have done this on the GS.  It is still true that the 3.5
inch master disk must remain in the drive even with harddrive installation,
but the game runs much, much faster with the image files, etc. on the
harddrive.

However, I remember that the installer program was a little crude and it
took me a while to get it to work.  Something about what I typed, or the
filenames I used, or ...(something wasn't quite right in the way it was
described in the manual-maybe I took notes, I'll look this evening). But I
do know that after many trials I was successful and TD2 runs well and fast.
