Well, it would work as is on either a Mac or a IIGS provided you
have a MIDI interface.  Now it would be great to add the MIDI
interface INTO the design of the CrystalSynth.  That way, it
could just connect to the serial port.

I was thinking of something more radical...a slot card for the IIGS.

Given the limited IIGS market, however, I suppose a serial port
device would be more feasable.  After all, you can then sell it to
Mac users too.

Still, an internal slot card that expands the sound capabilities of the
IIGS is sort of a holy grail for us IIGS sound enthusiasts!  It
would be the first REAL sound card for the IIGS, not simply a
stereo amp card.
