Just as an aside, the whole reason I want the conversion is not as a test
of hackery, but so that I can have an...authentic conversion, so to speak.
Wasn't there a sticker, plate, something, which you stuck over the 'Apple
IIe' to make it 'Apple IIgs'?
I dunno, I think it would just be neat to have a IIgs in a IIe box,
without all of these tasks, plus, I know I'd need to try it more than once
and I only have one IIe to spare for it, no sacrifices are really
feasible.
Oh, and importantly...I have the IIgs logic board with the connectors
onboard...no need for soldering.
