I have questions about the Alltech "Sirius" memory cards for the
Apple IIgs. There are at least two versions of this card. Do both
versions work the same way in ROM 01 and ROM 3 machines?

Also, can one order an 8-meg Sirius card (at about $100 it's a steal
for a IIgs owner who needs more memory) and install the card un-
modified in either a ROM 01 or ROM 3 machine? Or, does one SIMM have
to be removed for a ROM 3? If so, which one?

DMA considerations: I would expect the Sirius card to work perfectly
with the Focus (another steal for IIe or IIgs owners) hard drives
(they do not do DMA) but what about with the RamFAST cards?

I have an original Sirius card with 7-megs in a ROM 01 machine with
a Focus drive, and I have a newer 8-meg Sirius card in a ROM 01 IIgs
with a recent RamFAST. I don't see any problems that I can attribute
to the Sirius cards. I'd like to add a card (presumably with 7-megs)
to a ROM 3 with a recent RamFAST.
