Your arguement is like telling me old wooden chests are worth
tens of thousands of dollars, and when someone steps and disputes
your claim, you back it up by saying, "Well, of existing wooden
chests in the world, there are *some* which contain gold coins and
jewels, so therefore it is wrong to say wooden chests are almost
valueless as marketable items".
You seem to just invent different angles to arguements (that
for all intensive purposes fall outside the realm out what we're
debating) just so you can keep on debating endlessly. I bet if
we were to debate whether the world is round or not, you would
probably find some angle or technicality in which to dispute it.
Here are the facts: The Apple IIgs itself is worth only a few
dollars. The standard peripherals designed for the Apple IIgs are
worth only a few dollars. Off the shelf hardware you can walk into
any store today and buy for you PC or Mac (that in some cases _do_
work on the GS with the right interfaces and software drivers) are
worth a fair bit of money. Let people draw their own conclusions
from those *facts* and forget about what either you or I have to
say, letting them use their own logic and common sense. Sound
reasonable?
