I think you're thinking of the N64.  The SNES doesnt have a 90MHz silicon
graphics chip, just SuperFX . The SNES uses a 65816 processor same as the
Apple IIgs. (from what I read from the readme of a SNES emulator for the
MacOS called Silhouette) that is what Nintendo used to make some of the
early SNES games, but it runs to slow (probably without a ZipGS).
