The Apple II assigns 2 drives per slot.  The 5.25" drives are in slot 6;
the internal in the IIc is drive 1 and it's using the left drive of your
duo disk for drive 2.  You would probably have to hack the firmware to
make it recognize the second duo drive but if you were successful (I
don't know if it's even possible), chances are the IIc would no longer
work properly.

Besides, you have a rare version 4; I've never seen one in my travels -
lots of 255's, one 0, slews of 3's and one 5 (my IIc+).  You shouldn't try
to destroy it.  ;-)
