I would advise any serious RAM buyer to look for products at *about*
US$1.00 per MByte.

I just saw a 64-MB DIMM for $63.

This doesn't work at the low end, obviously:  You can't buy a 1-MB SIMM for
$1.00 (at least, not that I know of.)

4-MB SIMMS are about $10

8-MB SIMMS *should be* around $15, I would guess.

MacWarehouse and the big catalog people get away with prices two or three
times the lowest available price.

RAM is a commodity product.  They're all equally good.  Buy them based on price.
