One nice thing about Csa2 is that we can openly express conflicting
views and, sometimes, 'agree to disagree'. You feel that some 'credit
patch' from The Whip, Dr. Micro, etc. detracts from the intro; I believe
it is useful information which is, in any case, a reasonable trade-off.
The plain fact remains that a crack which makes a game copiable and
fully playable adds significantly to the game's value. It seems only
fair to let those who did the work get credit.
