gsos601 woes

Hi:
I have a problem with gsos601 since I played with the WindowMgr
(I wished I hadnt):
Whenever I boot, the monitor colors are no longer standard
(blue/white) , but black/white. After I change the display
back to standard thru the contrl panel and quit,
I get the feeling that this info is not
being saved since the next boot displays black/white again.
Also, the logoff doesnt work properly, but freezes.
These problems dont show up with shift-boot.
I am using no longer the WindowMgr, but the problems persist.
What gives?
