Source for SILENTYPE printer spares?

Hi there,

among my Apple II stuff is a SILENTYPE printer that _does_ print, 
but doesn't advance the paper. Investigation into the recesses of
the case showed, that the plastic connection tube between the stepper
motor and the paper transport is slightly broken.
Is there a source for this spare part or a well known household
replacement?
