I "re-discovered" (meaning stuff I knew before but forget if I haven't
used it for too long) that the ZipGS has compatibility settings in
relation to AppleTalk. I found that copying the ZipInit and
ZipGS.Resetter files to the System.Setup folder on my netboot
environment got rid of the network disconnects. According to the
ZipGS docs I've read again, the ZipGS has to be temporarily disabled
(slowed down) when accessing the AppleTalk network, and this is what
the ZipInit patch does. I hope that that's also the problem with your
setup.
