***) I hate to burst anybody's bubble on these matters but; First, here's a
fact for all to read: Woz DOES NOT read any Usenet posting.  He never has an
never will.  How do I know?  Because I asked him and that's what he told me.
Second, Woz hhhas completely retired now from any more computer related
concerns with the Apple II computers.
Sad but true.  Again, how do I know?  He told me this a few weeks back when I
visited his home and this was also confirmed by his secretary.

The rest of the concept expressed by Rubywand seems 
like a fair and workable theory though.  Not trying to be a NEGATIVE NAYSAYER
on this concept - but, knowing Apple
Computer, Inc - as I do, it's very remote and very, very unlikely that they
would ever agree to sell the rights to
anything related to Apple II or IIGS technology, software, etc.

Apple II" page and accepts pledges for $25 shares with a limit of ten shares
per user? We would have a guage of user interest in the idea and no money would

***) That would certainly be the most logical manner to
consider and to institute - with respect to such a concept and project.  I'll
pledge my 10 share commitment here and now for a maximum total of $250 towards
such.
