Apple IIe Startup

Hi ,

When I start my apple IIe, it says 'Apple ][' and not 'Apple //e' as i
saw somewhere.

Can anybody tell me if this is normal or if the 'Apple //e' logo comes
only with an enhanced apple IIe ?

Another little question :

What does the 'Apple IIe Enhancement Kit' ?
