More updates.

I uploaded the compiled files/scripts at

The patched boot blocks for proper cleartext authentication are at:

Just for completeness, I copied Marsha's AppleShare CDEV into:

The Seagate DockStar does indeed use 12V (using max 2A). Now I'm left
wondering what gadget I was working on that uses 9V, and starting to
ponder upon the aspects of senility :-)

The binaries were compiled for the armel platform. The DockStar has
the 1.2GHz Marvell Sheeva CPU. A lot of personal SANs use this CPU,
but the WD MyBook does not. I'll try to get the updated uams_randnum
and afppasswd sources (using libgcrypt) to the maintainers.
Hopefully, it will subsequently be included in the package
distribution.

Thanks for your good work and for bringing that gadget to my attention! I just ordered one off Amazon for $28 (including shipping). Looking forward to doing some playing around.

How did you go about setting up to cross-compile (at least I assume that's what you did)? It always seemed like a huge PITA to configure.
