Information wanted
Hello.
I'm working on a little project. I would appreciate if people emailed me their
thoughts on what old computer games they feel were the most important,
influential, successful, amusing, etc (in other words, any game that stood out
from the masses in any way). I'm interested more in pre-90's games, for any and
all platforms, from Pong to Wasteland.
What games "started" the different game genres we have today? Which games had a
great impact on the gaming industry? Which games introduced new audiences to
computer gaming (for example, what games were the first to break down the idea
of games being for children?)...
You get the picture.
This is for personal use only. I'm just a die-hard gamer and am putting
together a little database of gaming history, and would appreciate other
people's opinions. Ultimately I may publish this on the web, but for now it's
just for my own amusement.
Please reply at either forispaa@clarku.edu or babysex42@aol.com.
thanks
