Well, if I knew what was wrong with it I'd have it working by now. 8-)  Even
at stock speed (7 MHz?) it makes GraphicWriter a lot more pleasant to use
since it does speed up the screen redraws.

Trouble is, the machine powers up, runs for a while...then crashes.  I
don't need to go into any applications; it just up and dies.  It's been a
while since I've fooled with it so I am not completely sure of all the
symptoms.  Running with the lid off helps, but only slightly.  I'm
reasonably certain it isn't a heat problem.  My power supply is a Vulcan
supply, and the cards are few and far between...though the PS is driving
the HD...which I believe is a half-height Seagate mounted in the Vulcan case.

After my experience with Wolf3D I wonder if it might not be a problem with
the TWGS vs. the CV Tech board, except that I had the same problem when I
put the TWGS into the machine at work...stock ROM 01 with 1.25Mb and a
20Mb Focus running off of the GS stock power supply.  Similar trouble...it
runs for a while, then conks out.  

My two best guesses are...
a)  The 65C816 is flaky.  Worth changing out since I want to get a high
speed one anyway, with an eye to perhaps speeding this thing up further.

b)  The CPU cable is flaky

Anyone got any suggestions?  I'll play with it and see if I can come up
with a list of symptoms...
