YMCA 2GS On My Desk

Back again. Finally have the 2gs. Did what someone suggested and
disconnected everything including the only plugin board (extra memory?).
Only monitor connected for obvious reasons.

Turned it on and first see its using ROM ver 01, then a screen with
"Check Startup Device" and horizontal ping line bouncing across the
screen. Now what? Also connected a drive and tried to bring up a program
game and the same routine as before.
