The upshot of all this is that you may be able to ignore the fact that
it is a Netware server, and treat it like an AppleShare server that
happens to be on an Ethernet.

You therefore have a situation where you need a bridge between Ethernet
and LocalTalk to allow the IIgs to log directly onto the Netware server.
You can do this by buying Apple's "LocalTalk Bridge" software. (The
freeware "LaserWriter Bridge" is not sufficient.)

CAVEAT: I do not know if this will work. There may be other factors
that prevent the IIgs from logging onto a Netware server. For starters,
the IIgs does not support other authentication methods, so if the
Netware server will not allow connection with a cleartext password, you
are stuffed.

Secondly, the Netware implementation of AppleShare may be limited in
some manner which prevents the IIgs from working properly, but allows a
Mac to work (in particular, ProDOS-8 might not work properly).
