Re: Pinger init again, anyone?

Okay, then we are using approximately the same setup. My Ramfast is
for my internal devices only--2 hard drives, CD rom, and a 128 meg
Magneto Optical. My Zip is external and therefore handled by the
Apple High Speed SCSI (which has DMA disabled for compatibility with
the Ramfast and the 8MB installed).

Actually, I don't know if they have been made freeware. Check on
Delphi in the hard drive thread and you will probably find a post
talking about a guy who is selling the remnants of Tulin's inventory.
I don't know if anyone has checked to see if he also has the drivers.

It doesn't do either. It does what Nathan describes with the
Ramfast--clicking a couple times and then spinning up. So, it's not a
problem with the hardware. The drivers just need to be updated.

: Thanks for the help, James.

No problem.
