maybe they happened to be in the way?  y'know, if you wanted to put
something in a certain place, but couldn't because you'd be blocking
something ELSE, the option would be to "pull it out" by making the
connections available through your device....  kinda like a
pipline....  <shrug>

makes sense to ME.....
