Re: OS For IIGS

Just an opinion, like I said. I use both and have my preference. Everyone else
is welcome to do the same. The people who really have no credibility are those
who only use one or the other.

One of my co-workers has a non functioning tape drive and scanner on his Win95
box. I kind of pity him since I can connect and disconnect devices at will
on any of my Apple boxes. Sure am glad I don't have to go through that kind

Yep, those were my thoughts when I got my first Mac almost five years ago.
I just got that box, a Quadra 700, back from being loaned out to a buddy
since he got his own 840av like mine. He said his PC using buddies were quite
impressed with the performance he got out of that little 25 MHz box, BTW.

I have enough spare parts stockpiled to keep my Apple boxes running til
doomsday, which is the day before the day I'll replace the Apples on my desk
with Wintel. Even in the unlikely event that Apple folds, there's enough
of a user base to sustain the platform.
